Over the past few decades, the dispute about women’s role in a society has been at the top of the agenda. Although, some people corroborates the idea that women are not suitable for corporate life, I am absolutely sure that the role of a woman, nowadays, is changing significantly.
First and foremost, the statement, according to which women should go back to their traditional role of home-maker is biased and made based on outdated concepts of preferred at that time surrealistic family picture. Everything has changed, nowadays, women are not dependent on their father or husband, they are well-educated and capable of achieving whatever they strive for.
Secondly, there is well-known fact that women acquire better communications skills compared to male representatives of job market, also, they behave softer and less aggressive in conflict situations, which are inevitable at work. Hence, the presence of female workforce is a key for achieving steady development in different fields.
Last but not least, if today’s society have an aim to reduce world unemployment, it definitely should not be based on gender. Reducing world unemployment should be started, for instance, from firing irresponsible employees, not dependent on the gender of individuals.
To conclude, in my opinion women are symbol of strength, love and courage and all of these should not be wasted in the kitchen. However every person has his own distinct vision of the discussed issue.
