The picture shows a way of making leather products.
Overall, the process starts with drying animal skin, continues further processing and ends with production of leather products.
Firstly, animal skin was dryer the old way outdoors. It is then delivered by truck and goes to the factory for further processing. To begin with, it is washed with water and lime. Next, it’s soaked in lime for some time. Afterwards, it’s flattened by a mechanical machine and pressed to remove moisture. Following this, it’s soaked in another container with tannin.
As a result, it’s polished on the conveyor with a polishing machine. Subsequently, debrided and ready animal skin was delivered to the factory. In the end, animal skin took the form of things that we are used to.
