It is argued that nowadays, the education system’s focal point is program studies, and not as much on achieving actual skills. Personally, I completely agree with that idea, and it will be discussed in this essay.
First of all, students have enough degree knowledge, although not much know-how experience. By way of example, students more often focus on learning figures, facts, and hypotheses, thus they could get a higher score on exams. However, by doing so, they are not able to achieve real practice that could be useful and used in personal work-life. As pupils are learning through a particular program of qualification through study, there is a chance they might not be able to solve or handle actual problems that will appear in real-life situations.
Another point to consider is that in many schools and universities, there is a lack of resources. They are not adequately financed by the government. In addition, the cost of all those technical furniture and equipment is as well expensive as curriculum studies. For instance, cooking degrees require a lot of practice, but lack of equipment is a colossal problem there. Therefore, one thing teachers and lecturers can do is to teach their students theoretical information and explain it through books.
To conclude, it is wrong to spend the most time learning facts, instead of getting work experience. Another big problem is the need for resources. Schools need to be divided into half-practical and half-theoretical lessons for any qualification. The combination of those two types of studying leads to a person’s endurance in stressfull situations in the workspace.
