The maps describe how the nature museum changed from 2010 to 2013.
Overall, the museum underwent a number of dramatic changes, with the most noticeable being a primary extension to the buildings, along with a number of new displays and amenities.
According to the first map, the museum consisted of 3 primary exhibitions and a lobby which housed a ticket counter and was located on the left-side, next to a garden. A mammals exhibit was in the north west of the museum, adjoining the left-side of ocean hall. The dinosaur exhibition was in front of the mammals one while it was located in the room which is directly to the left of the lobby.
In the second map, the garden on the right side was chopped down to enlarge the museum. The novel categories contained a cafe on the bottom right- hand corner, a new store and a human origins showcase and an alternative mammals display. It witnessed a change in the north west, the old mammal room was turned into the presentation of ice age, along with the display of insects. Finally, the ocean gallery seemed to get widen on the left-hand side.
