The bar chart illustrates the amount of journals sold per individual in countries A, B, C, D and E, in three distinct years: 2000, 2010 and with projected sales for 2020.
Overall, what stands out is that country B has the highest ratio of journals sold per person and country E has the lowest one. While countries A, B, C decreased in the amount of journals sold, country D had an improvement. Also, it’s worth mentioning that country E remained the same in all three years.
To begin with, countries A and C started with nearly 50 and 38, then decreased to 45 and 35 in 2010, respectively. In 2020, country A had a decrease from 45 to under 40, while country C falled from 35 to approximately 33. After peaking at 50 magazines per reader in 2000, country B declined from 50 to around 46 and then to nearly 44.
Country D had improvements over the time, that’s why it grew from nearly 18 to 20 between 2000 and 2010. In 2020 with projected sales, country D increased to approximately 22 ratio of journals per readers. Although country E had fluctuations, it returned to its starting point in 2020. In 2000, it rose from around 5 magazines to nearly 6, followed by a decline to 5 journals per individual in 2020.
