Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to request a week off in February during the psychology course studying in Hitech University.

The psychology course is offered for two years. There are exams in every three months in March, June, September and December. December exam will be my last exam. The course I attend is available three days, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday in the evening from 3pm to 5pm.

Before reaching the exam in March, I need to take leave for a week to go back to my hometown, Abimore located in UK to attend my sister wedding in February. She will follow her husband to US after married so it might not have a chance to meet each other easily.

In February, there is no exams and I didn’t miss any lectures before so I kindly request you to allow me to have a week off during the course. I promise that I will quickly catch up the chapters I missed during my leave once the notes are available online.

I hope that you will understand my situation and approve my leave request.
