Some believe that parents should prioritize their children’s physical well – being, deeming mental health support unnecessary. From my perspective, I align with the viewpoint that parents should take care of their children’s physical health, I firmly disagree that giving the attention to children’s mental health is superfluous.
There are two main benefits that make physical fitness important for children. To begin with, good physical ability is a favorable condition for children to prevent many kinds of diseases. This is because regular exercise and playing sports help children increase their resistance. As a result, good physical health will help children prevent diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and the like. Secondly, the strength of physical ability also helps children develop their bodies comprehensively. This can be explained by the fact that regular workouts that help children achieve superior height, muscle strength, and body endurance. This helps children be more active and not easily tired of any activity.
Mental health is equally important when caring for a child, and caring for and supporting their mental health can also bring significant benefits. Firstly, good mental health helps children participate in learning and play activities more effectively. This is because when they are in a good mood, they can be more relaxed and confident at work. Therefore, a good spirit and mood can help children achieve good results more easily. Secondly, good mental health is also one of the favorable conditions for children to develop in terms of personality. The reason for this is that being mentally and emotionally good can help them always see things in a positive light, and at the same time help them increase their trust and understanding. As a result, children will be closer and know how to share and sympathize with people.
In conclusion, although it is good to take care of children’s physical health, it helps children prevent all kinds of diseases and develop their bodies comprehensively. However, it is not enough to focus only on physical abilities without focusing on children’s mental health. Parents need to pay more attention to their children’s mental health because it helps them participate in daily activities more effectively and helps them develop their own personality.
