The line graph illustrates the number of people taking part in basketball,tennis,badminton and rugby in one particular region from 1985 to 2005. The number was counted in thousand.
Overall, it is clear that basketball and badmintoon playing people remained relatively stable throughout the 20 years period. Rugby playing people declined dramatically and ends with least popular choice,while popularity of tennis spread gradually.
The biggest difference were shown in tennis and rugby sport. 250 thousand people choose rugby and 2nd popular was tennis with 150 thousand people. From 1985 to 1995, popularity of rugby were decreasing sharply,in contrast, a gradual increase was shown in tennis,both sports popularity stood about 190 thousant people. Simillarly to the next decade, a dramatic fall experienced in rugby, decreased by two hundred thousand and became the least popular. However, a notable increase of tennis and that ends with around 220 thousand people.
On the other hand, the people of basketball and badminton fluctuated throughout the period. In 1985, approximately 75 thousand people was chosed basketball,while badminton had just over 50 thousand.Both sports declined slightly in 1990 and remained stable throughout the period.Basketball had same amount (75000) of people in 2005 as it was in 1995 , while a slight decrease in badminton at 50000.
