In 1985, the most populat type of sport was rugby at approximately 225 thousands of people, before dramatic decline to 50 thousands of people by the end of the period.
In contrast, the tennis activities started at 150 thousands of people in 1985, before surging to around 220 thousands of people in 2005.
Meanwhile, the basketball activities started at approximately 75 thousands of people. However, in 1995 the figure experienced a slight increase to 80 thousands of people. Likewise, the number of taking part in badminton started at just under 50 thousands of people in 1985, afterward, decline to just below 50 thousands of people in 1990. Following this the figure experienced steady increase to 50 thousands of people in 1985 to 2005.
