The line chart depicts the number of participations of four kinds of sports namely basketball, tennis, badminton, and rugby in one area between 1985 and 2005. The data is measured in thousands.
From an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that tennis was the most popular sport at the end, meanwhile rugby suffered dramatical decrease from the middle of the graph. In terms of basketball and badminton community, they remained stable all the time of the graph.
In 1985, basketbal, tennis, badminton, and rugby purposes were almost 60000, 150000, 50000, and 240000 out of 250000, respectively. Basketball and badminton, sports that weren’t very popular suffered neglible decrease between 1985 and 1990. However, remained stable between rest of time the period around 70000 and 50000, respectively.
In terms of rugby, it was the most popular sport at the start suffered an drastical increase from around 250000 in 1985 to almost 50000 in 2005. Meanwhile, the tennis started from nearly 150000 in 1985 rised dramatically to approximately 230000.
