Similarly, for Germany, although the proportion of adults dropped in 2050, the highest percentage of share was made by adults in the given years. In contrast to Brazil, it was followed by the senior citizens.
In Brazil, adults made up 65% of the total population in 2000, which rose significantly to 70% in 2050. It was followed by Youth, who stood at 30% and declined to 17% in 2050. Seniors ranked third with 5% in 2000 and a slight increase to 13% in 2050.
On the other hand, in Germany, while adults contributed to 65% of the whole population, their proportion fell to 48% in 2050. Yet, they accounted for the highest proportion in the given period. Seniors ranked second with a 22% proportion in 2000, which rose to 40% in 2050. Youth ranked last at 13% in 2000 and had a minor drop to 12% in 2020.
