It is evident that a striking contrast between the younger generation and adults is precise. Teenagers mostly prefer to watch dramas, whereas the preference for news experiences substantial growth among older cohorts.
The proportion for watching films among children accounted for about 19%; this figure was higher among teenagers, at 21% for adults and approximately 23% for adolescents. 26% of children who aged 10 to 15 chose to watch sport games, and 14% of teenagers watched sport related programs; this type of program was less popular among adults, with only 4% of viewer choice.
In terms of drama, the percentages for viewing preferences are relatively similar, at 23% for the 10-15 age group and 22% for ages 21 to 25. However, the teenagers category showed the largest amount with 30%. The segment for news among people aged 10 to 15 showed the lowest percentage with nearly 6%, while among teenagers, this figure for this category was around 18%. Watching news among adults regarded the highest rate with 33%.
In all age categories, cartoon viewership accounted for quite the same figure. By adults, this accounted for just around 20% of program viewership, while the figure for teenagers represented nearly 15%. The proportion for children was slightly higher with 26%.
