Overall, there is a significant change in watching habits as people grow older, shifting from prefer watching cartoon and sport to watching news and drama the most. In addition, drama is consistently welcomed by all groups of age.
Regarding sport, most people from 10 to 15 years old watch this kind of programme (26%) but the percentage of sport viewership declined considerably as people grow older to 16-20 age group ( 14%) and 21-25 age group (4%). Similarly, the percentage of cartoon lovers decreases about 11%, from 26% for people aged 10-15 to 15% for those in the 16-20 age group and picks up again to 20% for those whose ages from 21 to 25.
As for drama, the percentage of people who love watching this type of programme stays at 23% and 30% teenagers from 16 to 20 years old love enjoying dramas. This figure decreases slightly to 22% when people get older (21-25 age group). The same pattern can be observed in film preference, standing at 19% for children from 10 to 15 years old. It reaches a peak at 23% in the 16-20 age group and witnesses a slight decline to 22% for those in the 21-25 age group.
In contrast, although younger people do not tend to watch news, with only 6%, this figure threefolds to 18% of people in the age of 16-20 like to watch it. 33% of adults from 21 to 25 years old have a preference for watching news, making the largest figure in this age group.
