The graph illustrates about the concern of smartphone ownership as a rate of the population in a nation from 2000 to 2010, and by level of education in 2000 and 2010.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that smartphone ownership in the first period was the least rate but it increased each year and had the highest rate by the end of the period given. Meanwhile, by the level of education, no high school certificate was the lowest rate over the period given and doctorate degree became the majority.
From the first period, smartphone ownership started at 40% which was the lowest and the figures shows gradually increased. In the last 4 years, it rose up approximately 10% each year. By the end of the period, it had the highest rate at around 85%.
By the level of education, in doctorate degree was the majority over the period with 75% in 2000 and 90% in 2010. Meanwhile, in no high school certificate became the least among all education level, with 15% in 2000 and 45% in 2010. In high school graduate, there was a 30% improvement from 2000 and 2010. Furthermore, in batchelor’s degrees and master’s degrees, both had the highest percentage in 2010.
