The presented line graph illustrates how many tonnes of three major fuels were produced in a European nation During from 1981 to 2000. Overall, the figures for petroleum and natural gas witnessed an upward trend throughout the period shown, while that of coal was on the decline. It is also apparent that the production level of petroleum consistently took up the lion’s share by the end.
In terms of increasing figures, petroleum output commenced at shy of 100 tonnes in 1981, then registered a decided rise before remaining steady at approximately 130 untill 1987, and still ascended by the end. Of the production of natural gas, a similar trend was seen. It almost remained unchanged in the first period, at north of 40 tonnes and started to grow significantly from 1994, taking the second position in 1997 with more than 80 tonnes.
Regarding the remaining energy, coal production experienced a reverse pattern. It stood at 80 tonnes in the first four years, rose dramatically from 1985 to 1987 before seeing a consistent decrease till the end.
