The bar chart shows that with which reason of people’s starting or ending friendship on a social media. While two high percentages were showed for starting friendships, and given several reason for ending relationships. Overall, friend who know in real life was represented for the largest percentages, whereas increasing friend number was accounted for the smallest share. Additionally, offensive behaviors were showed the highest percentages for ending friendship on a social media.
Looking at the reason of friend in detail. People were accounted as highly close make a friend who someone has already known in their life just over 80% and had a mutual friend approximately 60%, made them the highest categories. However, working connections, attractiveness and increasing new friends categories were represented for lower percentages. (just under 10%)
Turning to the unfriend, offensive comments had showed just over 50% of the reasons. While, people who don’t know well and trying to sell something had accounted for approximately 40%. Finally, the lowest unfriend reasons were maden for who depressing comments and lack of interaction just over 20%.
