The diagram illustrates the process by which beer is brewed.
Overall, the beer-making process consists of eight main stages, starting with cultivating the barley and ending with bottling.
In the first stage, a large amout of barley is grown and used for malt production. After that, the malt is then crushed automatically into smaller particles by machines. Once crushing, the mixture undergoes its first classification stage. During this process, water is added to help remove dust and other impurities from the crushed malt before moving to the next stage.
At the following stage, the liquid is boiled at a high temperature with hops in order to further the flavor and aroma of the beer. After being boiled, the mixture is cooled down using a cooling system. In the next stage, the cooled liquid is kept in wooden barrels to ferment. After fermentation, the beer goes through a second filtration stage to make sure its purity. At the final stage, the product is bottled before being delivered to the selling points such as shops or bars.
