Overall, watching TV accounts for about 30 percent in both years while the other category remained the least favored. By comparing these two pie charts, it’s clear that the playing computer games category was extremely popular in 1995 though it didn’t even exist ten years prior.
The time spent with friends had a slight increase of a mere 5% during this decade and reached 26%. In contrast, the time spent with family had a drastic fall and reached 7% from 18%. Another matter worth mentioning is the time spent on other activities which experienced a 4% drop, reaching a mere 2% in 1995.
With regards to the time spent on eating out, It is notable that the time spent eating out showed a dramatic decline during this decade, reaching only 8% from 23%. Likewise, adults in 1995 spent 30% of their time on watching TV which was 2% more 10 years beforehand. In addition, playing computer games represented 27% of the proportion in 1995.
