On the cast of the river, the majority of individual houses were demolished to made way for supermarket and additional blocks of flats with a nea road running across them. On the southewest of the town, the lake , which was surrounded by trees and houses, was encircled by skyscrapers.Other local amenities in this region remained unchanged.
Moving towards the east of the river, all the trees were cut down to replace with a factory , an airfield and other amerities. There was a new railway to the southeast of the town that was extended from the station,running along the sea. Moreover, a car ferry was established to the southeast of the town.
