The graph displays the proportion of different recycled household garbage in the years between 1992 and 2002.
Overall, all categories of domestic waste that were recycled increased. In 1992 the most reused waste was paper, however in 2002 it was replaced by glass.
Reused glass showed dramatic rise from just over 15% in 1992 to nearly 50% in 2002. In 2002 wasted paper reused the most comparing to all other categories. Also, it showed gradual increase over 30% in 1997 and nearly 40% in 2002. In 1992 the least recycled trash was plastic only 10%. It did not change over time but the percentage increased slightly to just over 12% in 2002.
Recycled cans faced considerable fluctuation, in 2002 it was just nearly 20% but it went down significantly to just over 10% in 1997. However, in 2002 waste of cans reused to just under 25% which shows rapid growth.
