The given diagram illustrates the process showing how olive oil is made. Overall, this process has multiple stages, beginning with collecting the oil and culminating in the transportation of final products to the store.
Firstly, ripped olives are harvested by farmers using rake. These fruits will be stored in a vat for 2 to 3 days before being transported to a chain of specific systems. At this machine, olives are rinsed under cold water, then smashed into small pieces by hammers before being divided into 2 different products.
A part of the olive results from the crushing machine become olive stones contained in containers, meanwhile, another one called olive paste flows in a tube to a pressing and filtering system. After being pressed hydraulically then filtered to be oil, this mixture will be combined with water in a centrifuge before being extracted into bottles and transported to shops as completed olive oil.
