The map illustrate the Norbiton industrial area at present and it’s planned future development.
Overall,comparing the both maps, there will be massive change in future as most of industrial area will be transformed into residential area with basic facilities.
At present, the roundabout which is in the centre of area,is surrounded by chain of factories and has only two connecting routes.Whereas on western side there is a city and north side contain river, while on far side of river there is large cropland.
However,with further progression, there will expansion of roundabout to all four sides.The western and eastern sides of roundabout will be captivated by living society.Furthermore,the south west and south east sides will be covered by shops and medical center respectively.There will be building of new playground in north east and school in east.The river will remain at its place ,while the farming area on river will now be reduced and replaced by housing area which will further be connected via roundabout to other side of river.
