If I have an appointment, I'll arrive ten minutes early. Today, I'd like to talk about a time when I was late. It was for my sister's wedding. In Indian culture, there are many functions before a wedding, like the Sangeet ceremony, Mehendi, and so on. We had a Sangeet ceremony the night before the wedding. We danced a lot, and I was exhausted. Early the next morning, I woke up to go with my sister for her makeup. After arriving at the beauty parlor, I fell asleep while she was getting ready. It took a long time for her to get ready, and I initially thought we'd return home and I could get ready then. But it was too late by the time she was finished.
