Overall, it can been seen that the highest number of medals was won by the United States and Germany as well as France both shared 5th position. Whereas, Republic of Korea was the Lowest ranked in this table
To begin with, in Rio Olympic Games the United States won 121 medals and got first position among the top 10 countries. The next is China with 26 gold, 18 silver, 26 bronze medals and the total number of medals were 70. Next to China was Great Britain and got third position in the chart and were awarded with 67 medals. Moreover, the Russian Federation got 19 gold as well as bronze medals and 18 silver.
Furthermore, the two countries Germany and France both shared the 5th position and won 42 medals in total.
