The graph illustrates three different sport clubs and their changing throughout two decades. Each of them has significant changes.Swimming club starts in line 50%,team sports nearby 35%,gym activities only 5%.

In 1983 swimming was widely spread in the UK because there was created the system of national teams, who supported talented swimmers. This led to an increase of the number of swimming clubs. Only in ten years the number of swimmers has halved. The reason is simple:other sports have become popular and swimming clubs didn’t remain encourage they used to get. In 2003 the percentage of swimmers became 20%,which shows colossal losses of athletes in the field of swimming.

Now,we have team sports. We have a phrase “there is no friends in sport”, that is why sportmans used to do everything alone. Then team sports have appeared. In 1983 it was an average kind of sport, neither was in 2003. It kept constant meaning all these years with a little changes.

Gym activities now widely spread kind of physical therapy. In 1983 it was not popular because then we had no good equipment in training rooms, besides that people were not trained how to use them correctly. In only two decades the percentage of gym activities has increased five times. That’s because people learned the right way to use equipment.

Overall, swimming has decreased by three times, team sports has constant value and gym activities with good indicators.
