The bar and pie charts below illustrate how often different age groups and two groups of workers in Europe feel happy in the previous 4 weeks. Overall, it is clear that workers from both age groups and employment status were happy most of the time.
In the age group from 16-24, employees feeling satisfied accounted for 71.5% of the total number, ranking first. This number then decreases slowly from 71.5% to 58.9% between the age of 35-49. The number of workers feeling joyful sometimes or none of the time was approximately 29% between the ages of 16-24. Having increased by around 5%, a gradual rise of 7% was seen in this figure in the age group of 35-39.
In the last four weeks, 64,4% of full-time employees were delighted. In contrast, 35,6% of people working full-time were sometimes happy or not happy at all. These figures were almost identical when compared to the frequency of cheerfulness in part-time employees, only with a small growth of promptly 2% for the people happy all the time.
