The charts illustrate the frequency of joy of various age groups and two categories of workers in the last four weeks.
Overall, the feeling of happiness was the most frequent feeling for all age groups, and the youngest people felt more happiness than others.
Also, the pie chart shows the same pattern. Those who worked felt most of the time happy themselves, while unemployed people almost did not feel joy at all.
Full-time workers’ feelings were a little unhappier than part-time workers. Part-time employees almost always felt happier themselves by 1,6% than full-time workers. In contrast, full-time employees felt joy only sometimes by 2,1% more often than part-time workers. Whereas, people from both categories show the same proportion of sadness, by only 9,2%.
The happiness of all age groups has decreased over the years. At the age of 16-24 the joy was the highest – 71,5%, next it became lower and at 35-49 years old achieved 58,9%. On the contrary, unstable joy and unhappiness at all increased over the years. At the youngest age unstable happiness was 21,6 and at elderly age increased until 28,9%.
