The two bar charts illustrate data of working time per year and the average time of holidays spent according to some countries in Europe. The durations are calculated in hours for both charts.
Overall, it is clear from the data that Germany had the most hours spent in working compared to other European countries. On the other hand, Switzerland, with the least amount people spent in their work, had the most hours spent in vacation in a year (per person).
To begin with, Germany workers, as mentioned before, had the largest amount of working hours, estimated to be approximately 1900 hours (per indivisual). Moreoever, the United Kingdom, which is in second place, the average person worked roughly 1650 hours. Finland, however, had a close number to the United Kingdom, estimated to be 1600 hours. France and Switzerland had the lowest amount of working hours, 1500 hours and 1200 hours, respectively.
Nevertheless, holiday durations are different. Switzerland was in first place, with holiday duration of almost 180 hours. Nonetheless, France, the United Kingdom, and Finland were in middle with holiday hours of 150, 140, and roughly 130, all in order. Finally, Germany, with the most working hours, had the least durations of holidays per person with only 120 hours.
