In morden life, technology have revolutionize the way in which we write.While numerous critics argue that handwriting is no longer valuable in our modernised world and that teachers should not teach it in schools anymore.However,there are a number of cogent reasons why this preposition can be rejected because handwriting is very useful in copying notes from lecturers and in signing of signature.
On the one hand,there are several reasons why the use of handwriting is still significant in our modern world today.Firstly, handwriting is of paramount importances in taking notes from lecturers most especially in our African schools.Inaddition, teachers in public and private school should not neglect the use of handwriting in schools,most especially at early age should be taught how to write well so that by the time he or she grows up the child will be able to take notes from lecturers effectively.Furthermore,using the hand to write is also important during exams,so it is good that every child learns how to write.Forinstances,in Nigeria schools today use handwriting in writing exams because most children are not expose to the use of computer at early age.Unlike in developed world were children at teender age are exposed to the use of software.
Next,the use of handwriting is important in the signing of signature most especially in signing of vital documents,such as bank account, marriage certificate and even in schools.Furthermore,teachers should endeavor to teach handwriting in schools with this chicken will be able to be signatory to their own personal account to avoid forgery which could lead to cybercrimjnal stealing money from their personal account and also forging marriage certificate.With this our personal information will be protected from software criminals.However,in western world the use of handwriting is not really an issue because ay early age the child is introduced to the use of software and it is used in their schools for copying notes and writing exams.
In advance world,there is already what they call electronic signature used in signing of signature.Hence,the use of handwriting is not really useful in those part of the world.
In conclusion,while many maintained that handwriting should not be taught in school because it is not profitable.However,it is clear that it is use in taking notes from. Lectures, writing of exams and signing of signature with this main points of mine,it is more favorable to say that handwriting should still be taught in schools by teachers.
