Opinions are divided on whether technology is becoming common in education and it is a desirable change or whether it entails more drawbacks. Though the latter notion can be justified, I agree with the former.
First of all, it can be a major distraction for learning in our modern world. If many people choose to use it for mainly education, they might spend too much time instead of studying. There are a variety of video games which many youngsters are addicted to and also wasting their time for binge-watching videos. All of which is for just passing the time inefficiency and just surfing the internet. This often leads to a sedentary lifestyle and feeling of lethargic, thus this path opens up chronic health diseases later.
Without a doubt, modern technologies serve a powerful catalyst in education for fostering communication and collaboration. If young people decide to use today’s technology, they are likely to have a chance for interacting with strange people, thereby they can use a variety of online performances like online courses which is really common these days, online discussions and group working online on the internet, which in turns finding, communicating and exchanging valuable ideas from other parts of the world. As a result, students will be friendly and more talkative and these definitely come in handy in the future. Moreover, technology helps not only for being communicative but it also becomes more engaging and accessible. Once students utilize different kinds of apps and watch interactive videos, they will be well worth watching as well as learning a new thing though watching.
In conclusion, even though some people consider having negative effects for education, I personally support it as a beneficial such as in the communication and more engaging and accessible for many people
