It is believed by some people unpaid community service should be mandatory in high school programs. I, also believe that high school students should do community service compulsorily from high school.
The main reason why high school students should do community service is that it helps them to become good human beings. When they start doing charity work, working for a better neighborhood, and tutoring young children in sports, they learn something new every day. By doing charity work, they can learn to be good people, as they can experience the problem of sheltering fewer people.
Secondly, by doing work for a better neighborhood they are forming a good relationship with their neighbors. Also, when they tutor young children it helps them to get extroverted. Moreover, when they do this community service, they will be busy doing this work in their free time, so they won’t be addicted to any bad habits such as drugs.
In addition, if the community service is unpaid, then it might be a burden for some students, they might not be interested in working for the community. Then they will do it forcefully, but if the community service is partially paid. Then it will motivate them to do it willingly.
In conclusion, I would like to reiterate, that community service for high schoolers should be compulsory but, it will be great if it’s partially paid rather than totally unpaid.
