However, the other forms of activities are accounted for nearly 60% times of the total, where sports take on average 15 minutes for men and 10 minutes for women.
With regards to the household activities, cooking and washing is among the most important activity for women on a day, which takes approximately 75 minutes for women as compared with only one-third proportion for men. A similar pattern is observed on shopping and ironing activities. However, for repair work, men spend almost double time than women, with about 10 minutes for women and nearly 20 for men on a day.
