The line graph describes renewable energy consumption in four different countries (USA, Germany, China, Brazil) during two decades from 2000 to 2020, and the data is shown in percentage. Overall, all four countries were on rising trend in all years, with the Brazil leading on top of all, followed by Germany. Although China stood bottom in using renewable energy in 2000, it overtook the USA in 2007, making the country the third most energy consumption in 2020.
In 2000, Brazil used 20% of its national income on renewable energy, which is twice as much as that of Germany. However, China and USA used very little in 2000, although USA used more than China in that period with 5% only while the latter used only 3%. Brazil increased their energy consumption by 20% every decade, showing 40% and over 60% in 2010 and 2020. Similarly, energy consumption by Brazil was risen by 20% in 2010, but significantly doubled that in 2020, which became 60% in 2020. USA gradually raised its energy consumption rate from 5% to 10% in 2010, and 20% in 2020. The line graph showed very constant upward pattern. Finally, China also increased its energy consumption gradually until 2010, where it used much higher from that period, overpassing USA in 2010 and reaching 40% in 2020.
In conclusion, USA stood last in 2020 regarding renewable energy consumption, with 20% while China used twice of USA, but Germany was just below Brazil, which used the most among all four countries, with over 60%.
