However, the question is: ” Are those televised talent shows a good way to find talented people, or they just entertainment?”

They will be recognized and depend on each people’s ability, they will develop their full potential for their careers. For example, a ordinary person who has a genius brain can change his or her entire life after participating in talented show. They can make money from their talent or can become a celebrity to develop their talent day after day and viewers will look up to them.
On the other hand, these programs also bringing entertainment for people. If you feel bored or after a tiring day of work, you can sit in the sofa and turn on your television, watch these shows and you will feel more comfortable. It can also reduce stress level from school or work. Morever, you can take these talented people as a encouragement to be able to work or study at school more effectively. Maybe you will discover your new potential.
In conclusion, I think televised talent shows can be effective in discovering talented people, but the main purpose of these programs is entertaining TV audience. However, these genius people will be recognized and develop their talent thoroughly, help their country development process more and more progressive.
