The bar chart depicts men’s and women’s differing employment statistics regarding the amount of leisure time they enjoy.
Overall, men enjoyed more leisure time than women in three of the five sections. However, data for only two sections were shown for women in the chart.
According to the bar chart, men had more leisure time than women. Men had sufficient leisure time in the sections of full-time employment, unemployment, and retirement. In the section of part-time employment, men experienced approximately 50 hours of leisure time. Compared to men, women had less than approximately 11 hours. Besides, in the sections of unemployed and retired, men had approximately 83 hours and more than 80 hours of leisure time per week, respectively. However, women experienced less leisure time in these two sections also, and they had approximately 80 hours in both the unemployed and retired sections.
Conversely, in only two sections of the graph, women experienced leisure time per week, namely part-time employment and housewives. In the section of part-time employment, women experienced more than 40 hours of leisure time per week. Therefore, in the other section, namely housewives, they experienced more than 50 hours of leisure time per week.
