The bar chart illustrates the number of australian people, both men and women, divided into six different categories of age groups (from 15 to 65 and over years old) who did daily physical activity in 2010.
Overall, we can notice how the highest percentage of women doing physical activity is women between 55 and 64 years old (68%), while the highest number of men who train daily is in the first category (15-24-year-old men with 52,8%). The lowest percentage of males is from 35 to 44 years old (36,5%), while that of females is women aged 65 and over (47,1%).
Furthermore, the number of males decreases from the first category to the 35-44 age group, while it grows between the latter and the 65 and over. Conversely, the number of women increases from aged 15-24 to people who are 55-64 years old and then it finally falls in the last category.
