Out of all internet users, just under a half of them spent their time on Facebook, making it the most used social network in 2010. The runner-up is Twitter which accounted for around 18% of users. Pinterest had similar percentage with only around 2% difference. Furthermore, Google Plus and Bebo were the least utilized websites, having 10.42% and 8.17% respectively.
Facebook is forecasted to account for significant majority of users of about 72% in the next 8 years. Conversely, predictions were negative for the rest of the networks. The value of Twitter users is estimated to decrease at 17%. Pinterest and Google Plus will follow a similar pattern to decline to about 9% and 8% respectively. In addition, Bebo will be abandoned by the internet users at all.
