In addition, the figures for using the internet and shopping show the most contrary ways to utilize square time between two genders.
In terms of watching tv, the percentage of men and women spent their time in this activity were the highest, at 77% and 79% respectively. In the second place was the share of family activity, while the percentage of women using time in this activity accounted for nearly 76%, that of men was 1% lower. What is more, 72% of women dedicated their time to doing sport and exercise, followed by 75% of men. While reading accounted for 71% of women, nearly 73% men joined in this activity, which was 2% more than women.
Turning to the least popular activity, only under 25% of people in England spent their time on playing computer games, particularly, with 12% for women and 17% for men. Additionally, while only 45% of women spent their time for using internet, the figure for men outnumbered that, with around 75%. Similarly, although only 27% of men enjoyed their shopping time, that of women was up to 73%.
