Oil emission started at roughly 270. Then, it dropped considerably to around 240, before going back to approximately 260. In the last decade, it declined steadily, with around 210 by 2010.
Looking at the amounts of coil, this figure started with 300 million tons of carbon emission. However, throughout the period, the number dropped considerably to 180 million tons in 2010, with no periods of growth.
