The flowchart illustrates the check out process after buying products by customer at a retail store which is opened recently.
Overall, the process includes 9 stages if the customer wishes to buy with cash or if they decide to buy using credit card then it take 10/11 stages. It all begins with greeting the customer and ends with thanking customer for buying from them.
To begin with, it starts after customer selects their respective products to buy and moves to the cashier. The cashier greets the customer and then proceeds to scan the items to get the total respective price. The customer is then informed the total price by the cashier.
The customer can make a decision of how they are going to pay either with a credit card or cash. If the former one is selected, then the cashier scans the card and if it passes then a receipt is provided and the customer is thanked. However, if the card fails to pass then customer must pay using cash and same procedure is followed.
In the case if customer decides to pay using cash, then the cash is received by the cashier and proceeds to provide the corresponding receipt. The process ends with thanking the customer.
