The graph compares the salaries of working professionals in the United Kingdom at the time of their recuritment and their income after 3 years while the table illustrates the number of hours these employees work in the span of a week. Overall, underground drivers are the highest paid out of all other professionals and work the least amount of hours. Conversely, nurses earn the least amount of income.
Underground chauffers work just 36 hours a week and earn almost 50,000 pounds when they start, this makes them the highest paid out of the group. Second to them are firefighters who earn around 40,000 pounds at the start of their working periods with increments upto 45,000 pounds. However, firefighters work for much longer, being on duty for about 55 hours in a week.
On the other hand, policemen and nurses are lower earning groups and earn approximately 20,000 pounds and 15,000 pounds respectively. They also work for a similar number of hours, that is, around 38-40 per week.
Lastly, teachers have it worst as they work the most number of hours, the same as firefighters, while earning only around 30,000 pounds when they start out.
