The two maps of the International Airoport in 1985 and 2015 now depicts the many changes that occured over the period. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the airoport has been transforemed into well-being facilituted place for traveling and much more convinient place for tourist, because of the variouse innovated places with accomandation.
To commence with, in 1985 airport was much smaller in size. The big scale was allocated to Jonson’s farm just on the north-east edge. There was two lage factories at the south-east courner that were demolished and instead in 2015 were developed a hotel and conference center. There was previously a tiny airport support center that were relocated slightly at the south, converting one of the factories building.
At the present, the the international, domestic terminals and car park remains at the same place. However, the runways were expanded, by adding the second airstrip. Subsequent to this, bus and light rail station complementing new airpoirt at the south-west, with a lengthy light rail attached to the construction. Also, farm was modernized into renewed business park and significant housing estate.
