Overall, what stands out is that specialists schools, grammar schools, and voluntary-controlled schools faced a notable decrease while community schools section is the only one which experienced a remarkable rise within a whole period.
As for specialist schools, it started the proportion at 12% in 2000 and then, it declined slightly to 11% in 2005. After that, it kept decreased to 10% at the end of the table. With respect to grammar schools, the percentage was 24% in 2000 and it went down dramatically to 19% in 2005. Subsequently, the amount fell to 12% in 2009. After falling marginally, it reached it’s least percentage for the entire period.
