The data presents the percentage of household income from five European countries spend food and drink, housing, clothing, and entertainment.
Overall, all countries spen more on food and drink and housing. In contrast, the five countries spend less on clothing and entertainment.
The United Kingdom was the highest spending on housing at 37%, followed by Germany (33%) and France (31%). In contrast, Turkey and Spanish household spend much less in this category, at only 20% and 18% respectively. In food and drinnk category, Germany become the highest allocate at 36%, while Germany spends the least at 22%.
When it comes to entertainment, the table range from 10% in Turkey to 19% in Germany. Clothing takes the lowest proportion among four categories. Germany records the highest proportion at 15% and France is the lowest spending at 7%.
