The maps compare the layout of an accommodation for students in 2010 and the present.
Overall, the site has undergone drastic changes, the most important of which are the expansion in student bedrooms and the introduction of several rooms and a parking lot. These additions have come at the expense of the small garden and the bigger one at the bottom.
Focusing first on the lower section, the outside garden is redeveloped into a parking lot for cars in the present. While the main entrance remains unchanged, the hallway area is reduced in size to make way for an en-suite room. The bathroom and its adjacent bedroom, along with the kitchen and the right-corner bedroom, stand as they did in 2010, untouched by the wave of development.
Shifting our attention to the upper part, the bigger garden has been extended to the left, whereas the smaller one is replaced to cater to a newly built student bedroom. The former living room is also repurposed into another bedroom, contributing to a total of five bedrooms.
