Dear Shivam,
I am writing this letter to apologize for damaging the book you lent me last week.
A few days ago, while I was enjoying my coffee and reading the book in the early morning, my younger brother suddenly ran towards me and bumped into me. Before I could react, I saw tea spill onto the book. I have already dried the pages, but some of them are still wrinkled.
I have spoken with the supplier and sent the book for repair. I believe it can be fixed to its original condition; if not, I will make sure to buy a new copy and give it to you.
Once again, I would like to sincerely apologize for this incident. I know that the book is one of your favorites, and I promise to return it to you in as close to the same condition as you lent it to me.
Warm regards,
Aditya Sharma
