In today’s era, having talented employees in companies is very vital. Some groups of people think that organizations should hire those people who are innovative and have ability to work independently without anyones help. Whereas others believe that companies should recruit those candidates who follow all the rules and regulations as well as work in a team. I will mention both views with related examples and also provide my opinion in the following essay.
To begin with, several reasons can be put forth to support that it is extremely necessary for companies to have workers who like to work independently and create new ideas. First and foremost, the predominant reason is that because of the innovation and independence, employees can gain new knowledge and enhance their practical skills. As a result, companies and employees both get success and future growth. Not only this, but individuals who work independently, never rely on other people. Therefore, they always complete their tasks before due time with full determination. For example, a study by the University of Toronto mentioned that 60% of companies gain more profit because of recruiting candidates who prefer new thoughts and independence while working.
On the other hand, we cannot ignore that teamwork with all necessary instructions is a dream work. The major reason is that employees who like to work in teams are easily connect with their colleagues. As a consequence, they can share their ideas with each others that can be convenient for them to complete any tasks smoothly and without any hesitations. Furthermore, hiring people who always follow the company’s instructions is always asset. To illustrate, nowadays, Patel Industry is one of the top companies in the real estate field due to its disciplined workers who always fulfill rules and regulations.
To conclude, and according to my opinion, both perspectives have their own merits for companies and employees. However, it is totally based on the company’s hiring requirements and the candidate’s quality and experience of related field work.
