The picture shows the process of producing jeans from cotton
Overall, the productions of cotton jeans involve several stages, beginning with harvesting cotton, and finally delivered to retailers.
The process begins in cotton field located in Asian countries such as India or China. Cotton plants are then applied with water and chemicals and it takes 160 days to become fibre. After that, the fibre is harvested and separated by machine before being washed, bleached, dyed, spun into yarn at a factory. At this step, elastane may be added to improve the stretch and comfort
Turning to the next stage of this process, the yarn is transported to a texile factory where it is woven into denim. Then , the denim is sent to another factory where it is cut and sewn into jeans. Additionaly, components such as buttons and zips are attached to complete to garment. Finally, the completed jeans are shipper to distrubution centres such as USA and Europe from where they are delivered to physical or online retailers
