The line graph illustrates changes in the number of people travelling to work by walking, cycling, and driving between 2012 and 2019.
Overall, it can clearly be seen that driving experienced a significant decline over the period and recorded the lowest figure at the end of the period, Meanwhile, walking and cycling increased gradually througout the year.
In terms of how people travelling to work with the highest rate at the start, driving stood at precisely 900 in 2012. Through out the next period, driving decreased drastically and recorded its lowest point at approximately 250 people in 2019.
Regarding the two other types of people travelling to work with lower levels at the beginning year, walking and cycling started at around 250 and 300. Although cycling experienced a moderate increase to nearly 500 in 2014, it became stable until the end of the period. Meanwhile, the number of people who is walking increased gradually and reached a peak of just above 500 at the end of the period. Both of them surpassing the number of people who is driving in 2017.
