The line graph gives information about the number of people using transportation by driving, cycling and walking to travel to work between 2012 and 2019.
Overall, it is clear that the number of users driving to go to work has decreased, while the figure for people who travel by walking and cycling has increased. In addition, although driving used to be the dominant form of transportation, it was overtaken by the other two remaining categories at the end of the period.
The number of workers using cars to commute to work dropped significantly from 900 cases to under 300 cases in eight years. Meanwhile, the figure for cycling users rose minimally between 300 cases and about 500 cases during 2 years first of the period before remaining relatively stable at around 500 cases until the end of the period.
From 2012 to 2015, the number of people who go to work by walking climbed considerably by almost 150 cases. The next year, there was a fractional fall in that of walking to 400 cases. However, it grew considerably again up to more than 500 cases by 2019.
